Nova has a long-standing track record of working alongside households and local partners to develop community-based solutions that are both effective and desirable to the people who use them. Many of the programmes we support aim to improve the quality of life of residents in low-income communities –  in ways that are tangible and measurable.

Clients often approach Nova to assist with the design and development of such programmes. We work closely with communities and stakeholders from the start, ensuring that proposed solutions respond to real needs and local priorities. Nova follows a phased approach to programme development and a staged approach to intervention development, as this method has consistently delivered grounded, practical results.

Nova collaborates with partners and local actors to establish viable, context-appropriate programmes  and, where needed, can lead the early stages of implementation to build a strong foundation. Over time, we support the handover to local or appropriate teams, including through incubation, to take long-term responsibility for implementation and stewardship.
