OPERATIONS MANAGER (OM)
Tshediso matriculated in 2001 followed by ICDL, an internationally recognised computer end user certificate at Gigaskills Training in Secunda. Tshediso worked as a branch manager at Learn It On Demand Business & Computer College in Standerton. In 2007 he relocated to Pretoria to do his theological studies with the University of South Africa (up to BTh Hons) and University of Pretoria (MTh) in Practical theology, coursework passed with distinction.
Tshediso joined Nova through the Thusano Mahaeng project of the Witnessing Forum of the Dutch Reformed Church (DRC) and Uniting Reformed Church (URC) Mamelodi/Lusaka. He further conducted the PIQOLA (Particular Impact on Quality of Life) interviews at Zamdela and consequently accepted the position for Project Coordinator in the Highveld Priority Area on a fulltime basis since June 2010. Subsequent roles in Nova followed: Technical Support Officer and then Operations Manager.
Tshediso is result-focused and works to ensure operational efficiency is maximized. Through the 12 years’ experience, he has gained work skills by participating in the fieldworker as well as households’ recruitment and training, stakeholder communication and alignment, as well as managerial support to the project coordinators. His recent involvement is on environmental offset programmes and administering various community surveys and air quality measurements. His passion evolves around searching for practical solutions with the households and teams of fieldworkers.
He is married to Palesa Makutlwano Pudumo née Makhobotloane, who is an educator specializing in social sciences in one of the local high schools. They are blessed with a daughter, Boitumelo. He enjoys giving computer tutorials, web surfing, braaiing, singing, preaching, cycling and aqua gym.
